Azim Premji Foundation Scholarship: Rs 30,000 scholarship for girls for higher education, apply by Sep. 30

Scholarship from Azim Premji Foundation:

Scholarships are being provided by the Azim Premji Foundation for higher education to girls from most states of the country. Under this scholarship, each selected student is given Rs 30,000 annually. Apart from tuition fees, this money can be used for books, hostel or any study-related expenses. The special thing is that the scholarship continues for the entire duration of the degree or diploma course.

Who can apply?

Only girls who have passed class 10 and 12 from a government school or college can avail the benefits of this scholarship scheme. Along with this, for the first time in the academic year 2025-26, they must have taken admission as a regular student in any degree or diploma course. This course can be from any government or recognized private college or university.

Students from which states are eligible?

This scholarship is currently applicable to girl students from 19 states and union territories of the country. These include Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Application Process and Required Documents:

The application process is completely online. Applications can be submitted by visiting the official website of Azim Premji Foundation. There is no fee required for this. While applying, students are required to upload these documents:

  • Recent passport size photograph and signature
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Last one month bank passbook or bank statement
  • 10th and 12th marksheet
  • Proof of admission (good certificate or fee receipt)
  • All documents should be uploaded in clear and color scanned copies.

When and how to apply?

Applications for this scholarship will be submitted in two phases. First round: 10 September 2025 to 30 September 2025. Second round: 10 January 2026 to 31 January 2026.
