The Ministry of Women and Child Development provides internships for women. The program has been launched, especially for women aged 21 to 40. How to apply for an internship?

To apply, female candidates need to visit wcd.intern.nic.in. They have to apply for a month before 1 to 10 for the batch they want to join. For example, if they want to join the August-September batch, they have to apply from June 1 to 10. With the application, they need to upload their CV and purpose statement (SOP), which means that the ministry is required to upload the reason and interest.

Who can apply?

The ministry has divided the applicant into two categories. The first is for students and the second is for professionals. Students who are currently currently conducting a postgraduate or postgraduate study in the first category may apply. Teachers, researchers and social workers can apply in the second category. Women are selected from rural and urban areas, from these 6 zones – North, South, East, West, Central and Northeast. The ministry is encouraging women to apply, especially women from metro cities and villages.
