The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has decided to conduct the Karnataka State Assistant Professor Eligibility Test (SET 2025). In this regard, applications are invited from suitable candidates who have obtained master’s degree in various subjects.
A notification has been issued regarding the exam. The application submission process, closing date, and exam date have been announced.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will conduct the Karnataka State Assistant Professor Eligibility Test (KSET 2025) on November 02. The online application process for this will start from August 28 of this month. Candidates who wish to qualify will have the opportunity to apply till September 18, said H. Prasanna, Executive Director, KEA.
When will the admission letter be released?
The deadline for payment of KSET 2025 application fee is September 19. The admission letter (hall ticket) will be released on October 24. Candidates can apply online only. Applications submitted by post or any other means will not be accepted, he said.
Like every year, this year too, the KSET exam is being conducted to qualify for appointment to the posts of Assistant Professor in universities, first-class degree colleges, and higher education institutions (government, aided, private) in Karnataka. Only those who have completed their post-graduate degree are eligible to apply. This KSET exam will be conducted in a total of 33 subjects.
