Government subsidy for borewell construction for farmers

Under the Ganga Welfare Scheme, farmers are subsidized for free borewell drilling and have been invited from the eligible. The Department of Social Welfare has called for an application under the Ganga Welfare Scheme. The government is providing a subsidy for the eligible farmers who have applied for the scheme along with borewell drilling on the farm.

Farmers can get subsidy from the government ranging from a total of Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 3.50 lakh.

Small – advantage of very small farmers

Under the Ganga Welfare Scheme, the small and very small farmers (ie 1.20 acres to 5 acres of land) are drilled in the next few days if the borewell is drilled. This facility is being provided to get a better crop and be financially self -sufficient. Applications are invited from various corporations under the Department of Social Welfare.
