WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Written test and interview for selection of Project Fellow (One post) under the project

“Seed production in coconut, arecanut, cocoa (Under ICAR project on seed

production in agricultural crops)” purely on temporary and contractual basis will be

held at ICAR-CPCRI, Regional Station, Vittal, Bantwal Tk., Dakshina Kannada Dt., Karnataka.

4 Essential Qualification B.Sc. (Agriculture)/ B.Sc. (Horticulture) OR B.Sc. (Botany)/

B.Sc. (Biotechnology)/ B.Sc. in any branch of life sciences with

one year experience OR Diploma in Agriculture with three years’

experience.


Desirable: Experience in nursery/ Planting material production in

plantation crops/ Plant Genetic Resources management/ Working

knowledge on computerized database management etc.


5 Nature of work Activities related to seed nut, sprout and seedling production in

arecanut, recording data and other activities as directed by the

concerned scientist.

6 Date of interview 25.10.2024 (Friday) at 10.00 am


General conditions:

Age 18-30 years for men and 18-35 years for women as on

30.09.2024 (Upper age limit relaxable to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH

candidates as per rules).


Remuneration Rs.25,000/- per month (consolidated)

Duration Up to 31.03.2027. However, the assignment is co-terminus with

the project.


The candidates fulfilling the above eligibility criteria shall attend the Walk-in-interview at

ICAR-CPCRI, Regional Station, Vittal. They shall bring with them, a set of bio-data and original

certificates in proof of age, educational qualifications, experience etc. and ID proof viz. Aadhar

card etc. No TA/DA will be paid for the journey for attending the interview.
